My K-100RS is rated at 90 horsepower by BMW and a fresh engine on the dyno put down 72.5 horses, Most K-100's dyno in the high 60's so it is strong for what it is. Figure the driveline takes 18 horses. My Street Rod is rated by HD at 120 horses and dynos at 98 horses in stock trim, for a 22 horsepower loss. So much for the efficiency of belt drive.
